Dr. Robin O B Forde was appointed to serve as 1-CHURCH SGV's Senior Pastor in March 2021. Prior to that, he served as Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Batavia, Ohio USA. and Lead Pastor of  1-Church Worldwide SINCE 2011 reaching people in the Bahamas, South America, U.K., Europe, Middle East, Africa, India, and New Zealand

The attributes that best describe Pastor Forde as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development teaching, and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like 1-CHURCH SGV where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Pastor Robin takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending the first hours of his day focused on Bible study.

He Started serving as Youth Minister at Bedford Methodist Church in Georgetown, British Guiana in at the tender age of 8.

He graduated from Queens College,  an Oxford and Cambridge Universities prep school for gifted boys in 1958. He went on to study Telecommunications at the Cable and Wireless College in St. Lawrence, Barbados before continuing on to the City and Guilds of London Institute to earn a  Diploma in Telecommunications specializing in Microwave and Radar Technology. After a career with the British Post Office and the Ministry of Defence in the U.K. He pursued studies in Physics and Theology at Reading, Oxford, Harvard, and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.  He migrated to the USA where he served as Associate Minister at the Union Baptist Church in Cincinnati Ohio under the tutelage of Dr. Wilbur Allen Page D.D.

In 1985, after the Death of Dr. Page who Pastored Union Baptist for 66 years and 5 months, Robin continued to serve Union as Interim Co-Pastor with the Rev. William K. Freeman. He continued to serve as a Bridge over Troubled waters until God led him to introduce the motion to call his successor Rev. Dr. Orlando Benjamin. Yates, Ph.D.  in 1987. After serving under the New Pastor and with his Blessing, dr. robin accepted the call to lead the First Baptist Church of Batavia Ohio. It was a challenge but God granted favor, guidance, and Blessing.

Churches were dying and this was the last African American congregation left in a segregated community that boasted of being 98.6% White in 1989.  God has Blessed the Union Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio as well as the First Baptist Church of Batavia, Ohio. Both are doing well on December 25th, 2021.

Dr. Forde left the Full-Time pastorate to become a Co-Vocational minister and focus on his Higher Education calling as well as to devote more time to parenting since a new son JOHN was born on August 2, 1990.

He had a radical vision for the Church. Radical according to Western Theology but fundamentally "Do it like Jesus." Leaning on his Biblical,  Theological, Science, and Technology Training, plus Theology learned sitting at the feet of masters like Dr. Page, Eventually, as we approached the year 2000,  Pastor Forde gave the Church in Batavia 1 year's notice that God had called him into another section of his vineyard and after a smooth transition. Dr. Forde started on his new journey full of the Holy Spirit.

Dr. Forde is a Strong Proponent of Academics, Co-Vocation, and Ethnodoxology. He continues to serve as the President of Temple Christian University, our strategic Partner in Higher Education, and as a Founding Member of the GOD SQUAD, a Cincinnati Police Clergy Community Response Team who IS still Actively Responding to Community  Emergencies and Initiatives at age 81+. Pastor Ramon Tweedy was appointed to serve as 1-CHURCH SVG's YOUTH & Community Outreach Pastor on January 9, 2022. Prior to that, he served as Campus Pastor of  1-Church Inc. in the Cincinnati, Ohio 45224 area since March of 2014.

The attributes that best describe Ramon Tweedy as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development, and counseling. He has always expressed a burning desire to lead a church like 1-CHURCH SGV where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ.

Pastor Ramon takes Youth Education, Community Service, and Character Development very seriously. Soon after graduating from High School, Ramon was recognized as a Gifted Leader and the youngest Director of a Church-Based Learning Center for Children who were suspended or expelled from the Cincinnati Public School System. He had a way with the Kids. They respected him.

Tweedy's Kids often outperformed their Peers who remained in the Public School System according to former Cincinnati Federation of Teachers  Union President, the Late Tom Mooney.

"Learning Centers in Schools" was an innovation of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Greater Cincinnati and Vicinity.

He graduated from the TCU Bible Institute in 2015 with a Level-I Certificate and in 2018 with a Level III Diploma in Biblical Studies.  He later graduated from TCU Christian College in 2021 with a Baccalaureate Degree in Theology and Christian Business Administration.
